Janne Timmer

Songwriter and vocalist Janne Timmer is going to perform her new songs live! After 7 years fronting the rock band Harlem Lake, she returns to where it all started: with her Voice at the Piano. Her first show dates are 07.03 and 10.03 supporting The Cinelli Brothers (UK).

Timmer will pursue her own artistic path and will work on her debut EP this summer. To do this, she will first go back to where it all started: singing at the piano. And there’s nothing more magical than doing that for an engaged audience. Therefor Janne is looking for opportunities to play, with the first shows coming up this weekend!

Timmer is quite the (hopeless) romantic and although she does not shy away from social criticism, she currently writes mainly about the poetry of being human and the search for love and friendship.

Her solo work is diverse, with sincere emotion, skillfully written lyrics and compositions, and of course her captivating voice as common denominators. Accompanying herself on the piano, Janne puts the focus on her singing and songwriting. “I wish to touch people. And I love doing that as much with a story or a beautiful poem as with the music. Solo, I have all the freedom to follow my gut and flow with the music.”

Support The Cinelli Brothers

On Friday the 7th and Monday the 10th of March Janne will support the UK based Cinelli Brothers! They ranked 2nd at the International Blues Challenge 2023 and received multiple nominations at the UK Blues Awards (2020-2024), of which they won ‘Band of the Year’ in 2024. Their uplifting soul, blues and RnB music is extremely infectious, with quality songwriting offering a modern touch. Combine that with an energetic stage presence reminding of the 60s and 70s, and you got a top tier act you shouldn’t miss out!

The first show takes places in the church of artist village Groede in Zeeland. The second show in Belgium, at Spirit of 66. Tickets are here.
